Henri Lamy

Today i bumped into Henri Lamy works while i was making a research on figurative art. He is a young, french artist.
I have read that he was very affected by the dripping method of pollock when he was a small kid. in his works this affect is obvious, plus you can also see how strong the splashes and the knife hits are. Another very interesting thing about Lamy’s style is, although his work of art is figurative at first sight, the details are very abstract when you get close to the paintings.
i really admired what he did, hope you like as well 🙂
